XXV FAFAI Silver Jubilee International Convention & Expo 2023

The Fragrances and Flavours Association is hosting the Silver Jubilee Edition of the FAFAI International Convention and Expo at Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan, Kolkata on between 23rd and 25th February, 2023. The theme of the Convention is INDIA - "The Global Growth Engine".

The event venue Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan is the primary exhibition and convention center in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. With 31,894 square meters of exhibition space, it is the largest exhibition centre in Kolkata. The complex is owned and managed by the West Bengal Trade Promotion Organization, Government of West Bengal.

The event will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together all the players in the Fragrance and Flavour industries on a common platform to interact, share knowledge and resources and provide future directions for the industry.

The upcoming Convention and Expo is expected to attend nearly 2000 delegates from all over the world for exchange of ideas and interaction between colleagues and business partners.. It is focused on creating business opportunities leading to the industry's growth in India, while also helping to establish a strong foothold in foreign markets, he further said. The event will have an inaugural function followed by two days of presentations and deliberations. The presentations will include eminent personalities of F& F industry and experts from allied areas.

A Product Display Exhibition will be held in concurrence to the Convention to give suppliers and customers to discuss and interact about products and processes. The Expo this year comprises of about 300 stalls and around 100 companies national as well as international are going to showcase their products.

An entertainment program after the end of each day of tiring deliberations are being planned to allow members to refresh. An information regarding Registration, Hotel Accommodation, Exhibition Stalls, Souvenir advertisements has been published and circulated to all members. Interested members or individuals who would like to have a copy of the brochure may please contact FAFAI Office.

To coincide with the Convention, FAFAI shall also bring out an attractive souvenir which will be a unique opportunity and an ideal platform for all members to market their products by placing advertisements in the souvenir which will be circulated not only amongst participants but also to various F & F Associations and corporate across the globe.

In 1949, a group of connoisseurs came together to form a fraternity to promote flavours and fragrances in India. This humble beginning created a sense of unity amongst the traders and dealers in the industry of Perfumes and Flavours leading to the formation of Fragrances and Flavours Association of India (FAFAI).
